A flavorful, easy salmon recipe infused with za’atar spice, garlic, and lemon. Roasted or pan-seared to crispy perfection, it’s bold, tender, and ready in under 30 minutes.
4 salmon fillets (5–6 oz each), skin-on
1 ½ tbsp za’atar seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped parsley or mint for garnish
Preheat oven to 400°F or heat skillet over medium heat.
Pat salmon dry. Rub with olive oil, minced garlic, za’atar, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Roast for 12–14 minutes or sear skin-side down for 4–5 minutes, then flip for another 3–4 minutes.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
Garnish and serve warm.
Use parchment for easy cleanup.
