A cool, creamy no-bake dessert layered with vanilla pudding, fresh strawberries, bananas, whipped topping, and vanilla wafers — perfect for potlucks and summer gatherings.
2 boxes (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
3½ cups cold milk (whole or 2%)
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (or 2 cups whipped cream)
1 box vanilla wafers
3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
1½ lbs fresh strawberries, sliced
Optional: ½ cup cream cheese, softened (for pudding)
Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Fold in optional cream cheese.
Slice bananas and strawberries.
In a 9×13 dish, layer wafers, pudding, bananas, strawberries, and whipped topping.
Repeat layers, ending with whipped topping and strawberries on top.
Chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish before serving.
Use lemon juice on bananas to reduce browning.
For trifle presentation, use a clear glass bowl.
Store leftovers chilled and consume within 2–3 days.
