These homemade garlic butter dinner rolls are soft, fluffy, and brushed with savory garlic herb butter. Perfect for pairing with any meal or serving at special gatherings.
1 cup warm milk (110°F)
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 large egg
3 tbsp melted butter
Garlic Butter Topping:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Sea salt for finishing
Combine milk, sugar, and yeast. Let bloom 5–10 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, egg, and melted butter. Add yeast mixture.
Knead until smooth and elastic (5–8 mins).
Let rise 1 hour or until doubled.
Divide into 12 balls. Place in greased 9×13 pan.
Let rise 30–40 minutes more.
Bake at 375°F for 18–22 minutes.
While baking, melt garlic butter ingredients.
Brush rolls with garlic butter while warm. Sprinkle with sea salt.
