Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp cornstarch (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes, green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

  • Whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and cornstarch.

  • Sear shrimp in oil 1–2 minutes per side. Remove from pan.

  • Simmer sauce until glossy and slightly thickened.

  • Return shrimp to pan and toss to coat.

  • Garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal. Adjust honey for sweetness preference.
