1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing and cooking)
2 ripe avocados
Juice of 1 lime
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper to taste
Juice of ½ lemon
Optional: chili flakes, lemon zest, fresh herbs for garnish
Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush baguette slices with olive oil and bake 8–10 minutes until golden.
Mash avocado with lime juice and salt. Set aside.
Sauté garlic in olive oil for 30–60 seconds. Add shrimp, season, and cook 2–3 minutes per side. Finish with lemon juice.
Spread avocado on crostini, top with shrimp, and garnish as desired.
