A comforting casserole of tender chicken, creamy sauce, and golden stuffing. Perfect for busy weeknights, potlucks, or using up leftovers.
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup butter
Optional: 1 cup cooked veggies or 1/2 cup shredded cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch dish.
Prepare stuffing with broth and butter (reduce broth slightly). Set aside.
In a bowl, mix chicken, soup, sour cream, optional veggies/cheese, and seasoning.
Spread chicken mixture into dish. Top with stuffing.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Freeze unbaked casserole for later.
