Light and crispy churro-style bites made from cubed angel food cake, pan-toasted in butter and tossed in cinnamon sugar. Quick, fun, and absolutely delicious!
1 angel food cake (10–12 oz), cut into 1½-inch cubes
½ cup granulated sugar
1½ tsp cinnamon
3–4 tbsp unsalted butter (for toasting)
Optional: chocolate sauce, caramel, or whipped cream for serving
In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Cut angel food cake into cubes.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Toast cake cubes in batches, 1–2 mins per side, until golden.
Toss immediately in cinnamon sugar to coat.
Serve warm with optional dips.
For air fryer: brush cubes with butter and air fry at 375°F for 3–5 mins. Serve immediately for best texture.
