Creamy Tomato Garlic Pasta Ready in Minutes

A fast and creamy pasta dish with garlic, tomato, and a silky sauce. Ready in 30 minutes and perfect for cozy weeknights.

Ingredients

8 oz pasta (penne, spaghetti, or preferred shape)
1 tbsp olive oil
45 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)
2 tbsp fresh chopped basil or parsley

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water. Reserve ½ cup pasta water. Drain.

  • In a skillet, sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant.

  • Add crushed tomatoes. Simmer 5–7 minutes.

  • Stir in cream. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  • Season with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta and reserved water if needed.

  • Toss in Parmesan and herbs. Serve hot.

Notes

Add chili flakes for spice or sautéed veggies for extra nutrition. Use coconut cream for dairy-free.
