Creamy Ranch Chicken is a rich, skillet-cooked dish featuring tender chicken breasts smothered in a ranch-flavored cream sauce. Perfect over mashed potatoes or rice.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 packet ranch seasoning (or 3 tbsp homemade)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped parsley, baby spinach
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp ranch seasoning.
Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add broth and remaining ranch seasoning.
Whisk in cream cheese and cream until smooth. Simmer 3–5 minutes.
Return chicken to pan and spoon sauce over. Simmer 5 more minutes.
Garnish and serve hot.
Add spinach or bacon for extra flavor.
Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or cauliflower mash.
Refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days.
