Creamy Ranch Chicken is a rich, skillet-cooked dish featuring tender chicken breasts smothered in a ranch-flavored cream sauce. Perfect over mashed potatoes or rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning (or 3 tbsp homemade)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: chopped parsley, baby spinach

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp ranch seasoning.

  • Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add broth and remaining ranch seasoning.

  • Whisk in cream cheese and cream until smooth. Simmer 3–5 minutes.

  • Return chicken to pan and spoon sauce over. Simmer 5 more minutes.

  • Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

  • Add spinach or bacon for extra flavor.

  • Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or cauliflower mash.

  • Refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days.
