Creamy Marry Me Chicken Pasta features tender chicken in a rich sun-dried tomato Parmesan cream sauce, tossed with pasta for a romantic, flavorful meal.
1½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
Salt, pepper, ½ tsp paprika
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
3–4 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
½ cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, etc.)
Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Cook pasta in salted water. Reserve ½ cup water and drain.
Season and sear chicken in oil and butter. Cook until golden and set aside.
Sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes in the same skillet. Add broth to deglaze.
Stir in cream, seasoning, and cheese. Simmer until smooth.
Return chicken and pasta to skillet. Toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed.
Garnish and serve warm.
Add spinach or mushrooms to boost veggies.
Use half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
Reheats well with a splash of broth or cream.
